Rights and responsibilities in treatment

The month of March has been designated as Human Rights Month!

We will focus on patients' rights and responsibilities throughout the month of March, as well as raising awareness about what happens inside a treatment facility.

Common fears discourage people from seeking treatment. We want to alleviate your fears, because treatment is well worth it!

• RIGHT - Each patient has the right to receive compassionate, safe, and respectful care that is free of abuse, financial or other exploitation, retaliation, humiliation, or neglect.

• RESPONSIBILITY - Each patient is responsible for showing respect to staff and licensed independent practitioners, abstaining from violence or threats of violence, and using civil language.
